HANDICAPS
Now the World Handicap System has now come into effect, we've taken the time to work out handicaps so that any competitions we run are as fair as possible. Please bear with us whilst we try to get this sorted, but also, please send us a photo of any cards you do (9 or 18 holes). The new system takes an average of your best rounds. For those that are club members, it will be the average of the best 8 rounds in the last 20. We'll need to adapt this for those that only play society golf, to take into account, the fact that players don't play that many rounds. It's likely that we'll start with the average of the last 3 rounds.
If you want an accurate handicap that will allow you to play in other golf competitions, then try out England Golf's iGolf system. It costs £40 per year, but means that you can enter cards any time you play and get a valid handicap.
Whichever, you don't need to worry.... we'll work it out for you and let you know when you play in an event.

MEMBERSHIP - HOW TO JOIN
You can become full members of the society by paying a small £10 fee. This will cover our annual running costs and ensure that you get the best experience possible. In return, you'll get access to all the events we run and have the ability to sign up online, giving you priority. Non-members will be allowed to come to one event without joining, but then will need to join if they wish to attend any more.
If you're new to us and it's the Rusty Rainbows lessons that you're interested in, then you can do this series of lessons before deciding whether you want to join.
