HANDICAPS
Now the World Handicap System has now come into effect, we've taken the time to work out handicaps so that any competitions we run are as fair as possible. Please bear with us whilst we try to get this sorted, but also, please send us a photo of any cards you do (9 or 18 holes). The new system takes an average of your best rounds. For those that are club members, it will be the average of the best 8 rounds in the last 20. We'll need to adapt this for those that only play society golf, to take into account, the fact that players don't play that many rounds. It's likely that we'll start with the average of the last 3 rounds.
Whichever, you don't need to worry.... we'll work it out for you and let you know when you play in an event.

CORONAVIRUS
We will be mindful of any restrictions and advice as we plan & run each event. We'll also take into account people's views and organise accordingly.
We're planning our weekend away for September! As it stands, we will ask all attendees for the weekend to be able to show their Covid pass & take a lateral flow test before they come, so that we can be as safe as possible. Obviously, we'll adapt to current climate at the time.
We try to run each event as safely as possible and, on the whole, will limit the full blown society days with sit down meal. The means that folk can sit where they want and with as much space as they want.
